Christchurc and Mt Cook

After about 28 hours in the air we finally arrived in Christchurch. After an afternoon (sunny and warm), evening (with HEAVY rain) and a morning (sunny) in C we began driving to Mt Cook, only stopping for geomorphological phenomena like the Canterbury Plain, especially the Rakaia river system. Now we are staying at the Alpine Lodge at Mt Cook until tomorrow when we will head to Queenstown after some glacier adventurs.
