Toilets again!

When Japan went from traditional toilets (see the picture from an earlier post) to more westernized toilets they went all in for it. It looks more or less like the toilets Swedes and Canadians are used to, but it's very high tech compared to ours. And you kind of find them all over the place, not only in private homes but in public areas as well.

From this control on the side of the toilet you can first of all change the temperature of the seat. They are usually quite warm because the Japanese bathrooms are cold. The two buttons in the middle are for jet of waters cleaning out the front (if you're a women), the back (for both men and women) or if you want to clean out both. I tried both buttons for the first time today and I'm not sure I will use them again. It was kind of weird...but I guess you can get used to the toilet wash.

A few of the toilets also have a tap on top of the back of it for washing your hands. When you flush the toilet the water starts. I'm missing a built in soap container though.

Some toilets also have flushing sounds you can play if you want to be discrete about what you're doing.

Great toilet stuff!
