Museums in D.C. are free (at least on weekends) so we had to at least visit one before heading with the train to NYC. We decided that Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum would be the one to go to! Bjorne had the coolest experience in there (that I totally missed out on - we didn't walk around together). He got to walk around in 180 degrees Google Earth (made up of 8 screens that were 3 times 8 meters). I enjoyed the information on the space shuttles as well as the information on WWI and WWII. You could touch a piece of the moon if you wanted to as well which I of course did :)

Bjorne and J.R. also made a quick visit to the National Museum of Natural History. It was according to Bjorne also a pretty cool place but where you need lots and lots of time to spend.
