Since we spent so long at Times Square we had to take the metro to Union Square where we were meeting J.R. (who's also in New York) for a shopping spree.

At Union Square there was this display with ticking numbers that according to J.R. updates U.S.'s national debt.

This smoking art installment was right next to the ticking numbers. I don't know if it had anything to to with the national debt.
