Victoria!!!

Megan, my favorite little sister picked me up from the ferry terminal in Swartz Bay when the ferry finally arrived at about 11:45 PM.

First picture of Megan and I on this trip!
After a good nights sleep it was time to explore Victoria on a beautiful sunny day!
Before hitting the beach Megan took me to a great coffee place, Fantastico, for a fantastic cup of Mocha :) The beach, Dallas Road Beach, was something really something else. The view of snowy mountain peaks in Washington State (US) took my breath away (there are lots of things in Canada taking my breath away :)). We took a long walk along the beach (about four hours)! Well, we didn't walk the whole time since we had to have a few photo shoots along the way :)

Can you see the snowy mountain peaks in the background?

Posing for one of our photo shoots.

Quatchi, Quatchi and Megan...and Washington State.
Our next adventure after a yummy sushi lunch was going to Brentwood Bay for paddle boarding. What a fun way to get out on the water! We paddled around for about two hours, apparently going further than anyone else according to the woman renting us the boards. I also had my first "swim" (kind of just dipped myself in the Pacific Ocean though) this summer! Megan actually swam! And it wasn't cold at all :)

Our paddling boards.

Just returning from our two hour adventure. I couldn't bring the camera out there unfortunately.
On our way back to Megan's place we went passed one of her friends place to pick up a bike that she was given. So then in the evening we could together with Megan's roomy bike to one of their friends BBQ.

We followed the Galloping Goose Trail to the BBQ. It's a hiking and biking trail that is separated from the roads with traffic. It's 60 km long and goes all around the Victoria area (up to the ferry terminal for example).
That was all we had time to fit into the day!
After a long sleep (I can't remember if I have ever slept in until 10:30) it is now time to go out on some new adventures! Write to you later alligators!

Häftigt med snön ibakgrunden när man badar. Vi har haft sällskap av Tant Elly i soligt och varmt Karlskrona. Nästa gång får vi hänga på till BC :))
